I wish I could eat it, Marie. But I can't have any dairy products or nothing with fat. And believe me - if I cheated, I would pay dearly!!  There isn't any food worth the amount of pain ...... it really stinks but I have pretty much adjusted at this point.

Marie,

That really sounds good, and I may need to try it soon! (We usually do cheat one meal a week too)

Sending healing wishes,

Nicole

  Stacie, I think this might be something you could eat, (french toast) and enjoy without it aggravating your stomach. I am not sure about the cream cheese and preserve recipe, can you eat something like that??

Wow Marie, this sounds so good! I can't wait to try this - probably next Sunday as that is the day I usually make a big breakfast. And this would definately be a hit at one of my family's brunches. Thanks for psting this one .... and thanks to your son, too!

  Here is a recipe I would like to share with you all, since the weekend is the time I let my normal diet fly out the window, my son made me stuffed french toast for a brunch yesterday!! Absolutely delicious..  He adds a little bit of cinnamon in the egg batter dip for a little extra flavor. Make your french toast the normal way, when one side is done on both pieces, layer cheese (Your fav type) with shaved ham, flip another finished piece on top to make a sandwich, and cook till cheese is melted and ham is warm, he turns it a few times to distribute heat.  I put syrup on mine and it was wonderful, He says you can also cook with your favorite preserves and cream cheese to make a sweet treat and sprinkle with powdered sugar, maybe I'll have make them next weekend.

Hello All!

I wanted to share this chicken recipewith you as it is so easy to make and tastes so good. It is my husband's favorite and actually, I am making it tonight for him!

Oven Baked Chicken

Ingredients:

2 Cups Original Bisquick Baking Mix

1 Tbsp. Paprika (approx)

1 Tbsp. Garlic Pepper (approx)

1 Tbsp. Italian Seasoning (approx)

4 - 6  Chicken Pieces; skin on (thighs, drumsticks)

4 Tbsp. Butter or Margarine

Directions:

* Set oven to 425.

* Melt butter in glass baking dish (Pyrex)

* Put Bisquick in plastic bag; Add all seasonings; Mix well.

* Coat chicken pieces with Bisquick mixture.

* After butter melts, place coated chicken in Pyrex dish; skin side down.

* Bake 35-40 minutes.

* Turn chicken over; continue baking for additional 35-40 minutes; or

It is good without the pasta .. Bob enjoys it on a grinder roll with grated cheese sprinkled on top, and he likes it with shredded mozarella cheese melted on top, as well. Remember, Bob is Italian so pasta, pasta, pasta!!! LOL!!
