Hi Carol. I know I've been a long time accepting friendship request. My hubby and I are on the road & often in remote areas with no internet access. I trust you are having a low-pain or pain-Less weekend. Healing thoughts and positive energy via cyber-space to you. Gentle hugs Mary

Thank you carol, I agree suffering is different then pain. This one of the things I learned which helped me reduce my pain levels. I found out the more I work on my depression, anxiety, and suffering, the more my pain level does down. It must be wonderful to be able to help others reduce stress and pain thru hypnotherapy. You must get a lot of satisfaction out of it. Hopeing your having a great and fulfilling day!

Paul I think the difficulty was in words, and their usage. One of the big problems of the internet because it is without emotion or expression (absent emotioncoms I guess). Suffering and pain, to me are very different. You are speaking of other aspects of pain that are painful, emotional, and so on. Yes in that sense you can be "suffering free".
I am a hypnotherapist and educator in stress, pain and anxiety reduction so I have used these modalities often, for myself as well as students and clients.
I appreciate the clarification and would be happy to 'talk' with you more.
Carol

I apologize if I said anything to offend you. I am just trying to point out that even in pain you can live a pain free life. Pain might be there but the suffering does not have to. The main goal of heroes of healing is to help others along on their journey and to realize how many different coping tools there are. One of the major coping tools is sharing, another is deciding what we let pain do to ourselves, while many others are meditation, and guided imagery. I was writing to you as a friend but also as someone who has had the wonderful experience to guide many people to true healing of their pain, to comfort them when it is bad and to be their biggest cheerleader when they are up. I am not jumping to any conclusions, when I say we all need to heal and it begins within ourselves. I hope you find I am here for you and am not judgeing. Please do not hesitate to contact me at anytime as I would enjoy to talk with you more in depth.

Carol, I am so sorry some things did not work for you. It comes down to if your ready or not. If it is perplexing to you how to live with pain and have a fullfilling life then I would say heroes of healing might not be the best place for your healing and sharing and their might be other tools that can help you more. .I can only say true healing comes when we want it to and we believe we are healed. I have come across many people who focused on how bad thier pain was and sadly after 30 years they were in the same spot and then others who focused how good life can be even though they had pain and they lived fullfilling lives and were healed in several years. We want others here to have hope and not to focus on PAIN, but focus on how pain can become your blessing. I hope this helps you understand. PAUL GILENO founder of CT PAIN FOUNDATION inc
