Were you able to find a doctor, support group, Rx??? I sure hope so. I think about you, and hope you find someone to help you with your pain very soon! Once you feel settled into your new place, get a doc, Rx, let me know, we will sign you up as a volunteer! :) Dee :)
Stacie Cavallaro said… Hi Sharon,
Thank you for posting the photos. Your sons are so handsome and Meena, well, she is just beautiful. And your pretty cat - what is her/his name? How old are your sons? I ask too many questions, don't I? Colby is my only pet, but I am working on my husband as I want either a kitten or a Yorkie pup. He is against it - saying that one pet is enough. We'll see ........ You said in a previous post that you are not tech-savy?? Your page looks terrific. I am going to have to play around and see what I can do with mine - it is so boring. I hope you are finding everyone very warm and friendly. I am so greatful that I found this site. Before I felt so alone - no one knows what it is like living with pain all day, every day. It is comforting to know that I am not alone. I have a long journey ahead of me, but I am trying so hard to work through this mess I call life. CRPS has robbed me of my life and it is so difficult to accept. I miss my old life and want it back so badly. Oh well, what can I do...................
So how is the weather in North Carolina? I heard on the news that you have been getting alot of snow. We (I'm in Connecticut) just had a major snowstorm - we got over 2 feet - and now they are predicting another storm for Tuesday into Wednesday. I am looking forward to the spring - enough of this cold stuff!!! My body doesn't tolerate the cold weather very well so I am home most of the time. I had to stop working when I had my accident in 2006.
Well, I guess that's enough for now. I hope to hear back from you, and I hope you are having a pain-free day!
Stacie
Sharon, I so understand feeling isolated. I have selt that way since I left my job after I got RSD. I just left my husband & moved to California with my Mom. I thought it would be better here but I still spend days in the house alone. I need to find something to do to get myself out of the house so I can meet people. I also had a rescue dog. Thats my profile picture. Unfortunalty I had to put him to sleep. I miss him so much. He was my baby. There is just so much going on in my life right now. My pain levels get so high. I am trying a procedure next week to see if it helps my neck pain. I hope your having low pain days! Cant wait to talk to you again.
Hugs!
Sharon,
As I was reading your comment, all I kept thinking was I need to ask if I can post this so everyone can read...and then I get to the end, and you ask me how you can send to everyone!
On the home page, you can add a blog or a discussion. Once it is posted, I can then send it out to all members so they are notified about a new post. Would you rather me post?
To add friends, I think you have to go to each members page, and click on the button that says "Add As Friend." However, I think others might find you once you place this in a discussion. I would LOVE to read the articles you have written and post them as well!
Thank you, and I hope you are having a good morning.
Healing Wishes! -Nicole
