A Pain Survivor Community

Well it is here...another nite - finally. You know what I mean?? It is waking up and living another day but being so worn out that you can't wait for the pillowie cloud of comfort that comes when you can get the weight off of your legs and feet and something besides your back is holding you up. I really look forward to that feeling of warm comfort. Just being and being somewhat comfy. So I measure my success upon the day - how I made it again - the little mile stones I reached for myself no matter how tiny...and how I actually climbed another hill and reached the top feeling of --sigh heavy sigh - "i did it!!!" My motto is "help Ive fallen and WILL get up!" I hope all of you had tiny accomplishments that are tiny to those on the outside - but HUGE on the inside...It could be that I went up two flights of stairs today twice, or walked to the mailbox - or worked an extra 15min. But to me those are brownie button winners.

Support, blessings, and love

This is wonderful Karen. This gave me chills--"So I measure my success upon the day - how I made it again - the little mile stones I reached for myself no matter how tiny...and how I actually climbed another hill and reached the top feeling of --sigh heavy sigh - "i did it!!!"

I hope everyone finds inspiration in these words like I have. Too often we criticize ourselves and view ourselves as weak when we are far from that. Thank you for finding that the small accomplishments in life (which may be walking from one room to the other or calling a friend) are things to celebrate and be proud of.

Hope you are doing well!
